Get ready for a magical and unforgettable afternoon of sports, nature and solidarity!
On Saturday, October 11, 2025, the magnificent Gardens of the Royal Palace of Venaria Reale become the route of the non-competitive event dedicated to the youngest children: "The Little Prince's Run & Family," a special event that combines the fun of sports running with the noble mission of Paideia Foundation.
Organized by the Base Running team, already known for the Royal Marathon and A King's Run (scheduled for the following day, Sunday, Oct. 12), in collaboration with La Reggia di Venaria, "The Little Prince's Run & Family" is designed to really get everyone involved.
Imagine running through the enchanting avenues of the Gardens of the Reggia along a 1-kilometer course that is also accessible to strollers and people with mobility impairments. The goal? To raise funds for a very important cause: half of the proceeds from registrations go to Paideia Foundation, which has been supporting less fortunate children and their families for more than 30 years.
The meeting is set for 2:30 p.m. at Republic Square, with the official start taking place at 3:30 p.m. from the striking Grand Parterre.
The event is designed to be a joyful, shared experience. Children over 11 can run independently, while younger children can participate accompanied by one or two adults, turning the run into a family adventure!
The choice of the Gardens of the Reggia di Venaria as the setting for "The Prince's Run & Family" is not random. This place of extraordinary beauty and deep history is combined with a mission of great social value: a perfect mix of cultural heritage enhancement and civic engagement.
Paideia Foundation, since 1993, has been passionately dedicated to the growth and inclusion of children with disabilities, supporting their families, and promoting a more just and responsible society. Registration for the "Little Prince's Run & Family" has a cost of €10 per child.
