October 11, 2026: a date to mark on the calendar for all lovers of running, nature, and art. The first edition of the Royal Marathon marks the return of Una Corsa da Re, a unique event celebrating sport, nature, and the elegance of Piedmont's historical heritage. Organized by Base Running in collaboration with the Piedmont Region, the City of Venaria Reale, the Reggia di Venaria, and La Mandria Regional Park, this event offers an unforgettable experience.
The half marathon, a certified and fascinating race, winds through scenery of rare beauty: from the sumptuous Gardens of the Palace of Venaria to the shady streets of La Mandria Nature Park. Here, every step tells a story, every breath is accompanied by the echo of nature and the majesty of a royal past. It is a race where fatigue meets wonder, where the heartbeat blends with the architectural and natural grandeur of the land.
Una Corsa da Re is a journey through the centuries, an opportunity to immerse oneself in a historical context that evokes the splendor of the Savoy court. Finishing this race means, yes, crossing a finish line of a half, but also feeling part of a tradition that combines sport, culture and passion.
